Just who is God good to? (click here)

0Just who is God good to anyway? Have you ever heard the statement, “God is good?” And the reply? ”All the time!”
The Lord is good to those who depend on Him, to those who search for Him. Lamentations 3:35 (NLT)
I remember one time I was in the back yard and had to rake all the leaves up. I began to ask God what was the best way to do it, the fasted most wisest way. And yes just to rake the leaves!
He showed me ways I would have never thought of and I busted that back yard out in no time, using my riding lawn mower and a blue tarp. I have learned that the Lord truly is good to those that depend on Him. After a while and with practice, it’ll become second nature.
When a person learns this they also begin to enjoy God as a Father, it’s just the natural result. Why? Because God is good to those who depend on Him!
To many people are not experiencing the Lord today and why? No depending equals no experience! But what about you, do you want never live life the same? Dependence is the vehicle that will cause it to happen for you. Start today and before you know it, you’ll be enjoying Him as a Father!
“Lord teach me how to depend on you as a child depends on a parent, amen!”
If you ask God to teach you, you’ll be always be able to say later, “God taught me!”

Now it's My Turn! (click here)
By Chris Einwechter in : Practical Prayers // Jun 16 2009
0We can do many things that are beneficial to us. We could work out, eat better, go to bed early and no doubt save more. All good and we should strive to do them, but why? Because they will all enhance our lives right? Well here is something that will make an impact in any life for sure, no matter who’s life it is!
……Those who honor me I will honor,…… 1 Samuel 2:30 (NIV)
Imagine for one moment, just picture this with me. God is up in heaven, looks down and then says, “Now My turn to honor you!” Man! Could you imagine that? Could the Lord say anything more powerful to you? God promises that if anyone honors Him, He will return the favor! Do we even know what that looks like when God truly honors someone?
God never fails to act on what He said, never. So smartest question we could ask then, is how? How can I honor the Lord? You can start by asking the Lord to teach you how! If you do that your are already on your way to honoring Him!
“Father teach me how to honor you. I am not sure how to do it, so please help me to understand what that even means.”
If you always ask God to teach you, you’ll always be able to say later, “God taught me!” And in this case He will be able to say later, “Now it’s My turn to honor you!”

Hey I wanted it blue! (click here)
By Chris Einwechter in : Practical Prayers // Jun 15 2009
0What is God’s will? Ever thought about that? His will is His desire or in other words His goal. Kind of like if you wanted a room painted blue, that would be your desire for that room. Your goal or your will for that room would be for it to be blue.
Now how would you feel if someone came along and asked if they could paint the room blue? Can you see the smile on your face? You might say something like, “hey I want it blue to, thanks!”
When it comes to prayer we may be asking to paint the room red, when God wants it blue. That’s His goal for that room and when we are not sensitive to His will, we won’t see many answers to prayer.
Can we correct that? We can, by asking Lord to teach us. Lord do You want this room to be blue, green or red Father? He won’t keep it a secret. Why? Because it’s what He wants done anyway. What happens when you pray God’s will? He hears and answers us!
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1st John 5:14-15 (NKJV)
“Lord teach me how to take advantage of those promises, by learning to pray Your will.”
If you ask God to teach, you’ll always be able to say later, “God taught me!”

Interrupt that meeting! (click here)
By Chris Einwechter in : Practical Prayers // Jun 13 2009
0How many people are on the earth? The latest stats suggest it’s about 6.8 billion. Here is an even a better question, how in the world can you stand out among that many people?
Is there any one thing you can do that would surely change your life, and separate your name from so many other names? Yes, you can learn to grab God’s heart, and in a way that’s very rare today. How? By being thankful. You’ll make the Lord smile way beyond normal! Just by being thankful!
The Bible teaches that God has always blessed thankful people. Why not ? Most of us do too. We love thankful folks, we can even see them from a distance! Why? Because they stand out! Thankful people have that type of effect on us and on Heaven!
Picture an angel running into the Lord’s office, the Lord puts His hand up motioning to the angel to stop talking. He then listens to a voice from earth say, “Thank You Lord, I love You!” God smiles, turns back towards the angel and says, “Now what were you saying?”
Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe. Hebrews 12:28 (NLT)
Wow! We can interrupt those meetings at anytime by allowing God to teach us how to be more thankful! You’ll soon be standing out, no matter how many people are on the earth!
If you ask God to teach you, you’ll always be able to say later, “God taught me!”

Forget about it! (Click Here)

God went through a lot so you can use the name Father, and giving up on you is not an option! But adopting you is! So, forget about it! Are kidding? Did you know that God has an adoption option?
God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:5 (NLT)
How? Through the beating of Jesus Christ, who was tempted to sin by the devil yet passed the test and remained a sinless sacrifice! All so we could be adopted!
God was in the flesh of a man and took a beating. His word tells us that it gave Him great pleasure! He must of thought, ”I would take that beating again! Just to be your Father!” I bet it never gets old for God to adopt anyone! Never! Today, go from being one of God’s creations to being one of His forgiven children. The adoption business is now open!
He would never force anyone to be adopted, He just won’t do it. However, and I like the however part. If you are willing and ready to be forgiven then the Lord is ready as well!
“Lord I’ am ready now, come into my life and forgive me for my sin. Teach me how to really enjoy You as a Father. And Lord, thank You for not giving up on me!”
If you ask God to teach you, you’ll always be able to say later, “God taught me!”
