At God Taught Me Ministries, we believe in sharing the love of Jesus Christ in practical, powerful ways. Guided by Psalm 32:8 — “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you”— our mission is simple: follow God's lead to love others, serve communities, and share the Gospel.
We go into cities and towns across the country looking for those in need — the overlooked, the struggling, the hurting — and we do our best to bless them in Jesus’ name. Sometimes that means repairing the outside of someone's home. Other times, it’s delivering groceries, giving away free Bibles, or simply offering a listening ear and a heartfelt prayer.
Recently, we partnered with a local contractor to bless Anthony, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, with a brand-new roof designed to look like the American flag — completely free of charge. It was a visible reminder that God sees, God provides, and God still moves.
This is who we are: a ministry that believes God is not just a distant God — He’s a loving Father who wants to be involved in the lives of His children. Our goal is to leave every community better than we found it, pointing people to the hope, peace, and eternal life found only in Jesus.
Last year, many of you helped us with outreaches in Florida and New Jersey by sponsoring boxes of Worry Less Pray More books.
Well, it’s that time again and we’re heading back into cities to share the gospel—and after blessing Anthony, I felt led to do an outreach in the very neighborhood where I grew up.
I got emotional thinking about it. I used to roam those same streets—one of those "bad kids" from Mays Landing with no direction and no hope. Many of you know my story, but today, I just want to say: we’re going back in so we might win some, just like the apostle Paul said.
Would you consider partnering with us? For just 25 cents a day ($7.62/month), you can help us place a box of books into the hands of people in each city we visit. It's a small gift, but it makes a big difference.
