A word of caution when in a battle.
It’s been said that an eagle doesn’t fight snakes on the ground. Why is that? Because the snake is slick and desires to fight it’s battles where it can win, on the ground. However, the eagle grabs the snake off the ground and brings him high up into the air where the eagle can dominate the battle! The snake is now powerless, useless and weak.
Now, it's time to take your battle to a place where you can dominate! Prayer is a gift given to you by God, designed to win much like an eagle up in the air.
And if you’re in a battle right now here's a great tip, don’t fight with earthly weapons!
In other words don't raise your voice, don't get mad, don't get discouraged and don't do something foolish. No, instead fight with something that was designed to win, prayer!
Yes, take your fight higher than any eagle ever could, higher than the heavens into the spirit realm. How? By crying out to God in prayer! You'll not only dominate, but you'll win the battle!
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
29 He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.
30 They were glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them to their desired haven.
