Lovely video. Very edifying. I have reread your book ' Pray More - Worry less' on my flight during holidays. Could you please comment re 'consider not' as at church today the talk outlined our Father gave us a mind which thinks - considers our situation. Does 'consider not' direct us to submit our thinking to Father's mind for adjustment to Fathers mind or confirmation that we are in agreement with Word? Blessings Shirleen.

Hi Shirleen, When talking about, "Consider Not" in the Worry Less Pray More book I'm talking about faith and how to keep your faith strong. For example, Abraham was told he was going to have a baby when he was about one hundred years old.

Now, if he would have considered all his circumstances and the many valid reasons he shouldn't have a baby, he would have fallen into doubt. Instead Abraham didn't consider even his own body which was pretty much to old to have a baby.

So again Abraham didn't consider that, even though it was a fact that could be seen, and touched.

However, he did consider that God was able to perform what He promised! And as a result Abraham saw a miracle!

19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

(Romans 4:19-21 New King James Version)

Hope that helps.

Be blessed,

Chris

Hi Chris
Yes. Thankyou Chris for very clear explanation. Consider not - we are aware of our situation but must not focus on this but instead focus on the infallibility of the Word - promise of God. Blessings. Loved your book and your teaching - clear, understandable with real life applications. Blessings Shirleen.

Great message Chris! I love that you are always thinking and meditating on God. There are many of us who still live in the pleasing of others to feel accepted and appreciated . Yet we have a God that we can never out give and continues to bless us even when we forsake Him. Think of the many blessings in our lives past and present . Those blessings we don't recognize or acknowledge. Those blessings we never praise Him or thank Him for seldom. His love is intentional, His love is committed. His love is unconditional. His love is not based on what we do but what He sees in us. His righteousness found in His Son Jesus whose Spirit lives in us! What a relief ! What a comfort and what hope our Lord Christ Jesus gives to us in a falling and failing world. We can reflect His attributes, His character, His amazing love, by knowing His love for us . This is when doing the right things in life will come super naturally and His glory will be magnified as our peace and joy will be sustained no matter what our circumstances. Chris how do we live our lives throughout the day without inviting the Omnicient one into our lives? How can we not want to have a heart for doing the right thing and living our lives to please one. To please " One" is more fun. To please " One" because of what " He" has done and still does as Lord and Savior of our lives ! What a God we serve. Thank you Chris for sharing that piece and for sharing your love and passion for the Creator of the Universe!

The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

(Genesis 6:6 New International Version)

"His heart..."

God has a heart and we have a choice, to either please that heart or grieve it. And I've done both. But my point is that He's not just a God with a brick in His chest, He loves us and we can love Him back. And that's good stuff, thank you Cathy!
