Maybe it looks like just another wheel barrel to you, but to me it looks like an answered prayer from an awesome God! Yes, I did it. I prayed for a wheel barrel!
My wheel barrel broke and so I prayed for direction on where to go for the next one. Asking things like, "Lord, should I go to Home depot? Where can I get the best deal Lord?" I didn't feel like spending a lot on a tool that was going to get beat up and just needed to something to get the job done. I think I prayed for about three days or so, and then began searching on craigslist for one. Days later I was talking with a person who told me they we're looking on craigslist for something and I said, "I was just on craigslist myself, looking for a used wheel barrel." They said, "You need a wheel barrel? I have one for you." A few moments later they wheeled it out of the back yard, gave to me for free, and the rest is history! Here's the thing though, I don't recommend praying to God just to get things. However, I do recommend dependance upon God for everything! Dependance is what gets God's attention, it's the secret sauce. When you get to the point in your life where you are truly depending upon God for everything, even for a wheel barrel, then expect Him to show up! Dependance is different from seeking God only for things. It's seeking God's wisdom, and His perfect direction on how to do something the best way possible. So don't fall into the habit of merely seeking God for things, but instead try to develop the habit of trusting Him for direction with every detail of your life. Now, if He decides to bless you with something it's because He decided that was best for the situation. And He just might bless you. Remember God is a Father, not merely a God up in the sky with a brick in His chest. He cares for His children everyday, and Lamentations 3:25 says, The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. (Lamentations 3:25 New Living Translation) God is good to those who depend on Him. Not only to the perfect, or the religious, but to those who depend on Him. Dependence is the secret, it's the key. The truth is your entire life can change just by making a simple decision to depend on God for everything. It's going to take practice, it's going to take effort, but it's going to be powerful! Try starting today by praying about what it is you are searching for. Whatever it is, even a wheel barrel. Then trust God to direct you. I began to developed this dependence over two decades ago and with each year that passes by, I reach a greater level of reliance on Him. It's such a wonderful concept that you are sharing today because it brings so much freedom from worry when you know that God is faithful even in the little things like a wheelbarrow. Just last month my riding mower broke down and while I was asking God which direction I should go to get it repaired, He sent someone to take care of my lawn for the Summer! Dependence is sweet!!!!! Thanks for posting.

Wow thank you Chris for sharing this testimony and your heart with us. This is very encouraging to show us how we can rely on God as a Father just like you do. It's awesome to hear radical testimonies like this one but is even better how you break it down and give examples and direction to us to be able to follow. God is our Father and He cares for what matters to us. He is so faithful and trustworthy. Two days ago I experienced His power as I was cutting down a HUGE tree in my yard. I had a rope on the tree that was attached to my truck and had my wife in the truck pulling that was so scared. I had the tree knocked and back cut and it just wasn't working. The tree was leaning the opposite way that I was trying to drop it due to my pool, house, and kids play set on the side where it was leaning. I prayed and than had to make a decision fast. I unhooked the rope and made a adjustment while God sat and held that tree in place with the wind blowing. I corrected my mistake hooked it all back up and had my wife back in my truck. Had her hit the gas and I cut the littles bit and bam!! Dropped it exactly where I wanted it to fall. God is good to those who depend on Him!! I cry every time I think of this. Thank you Father for being there for me countless times to correct my mistakes and show me the right way to do things through love.

Wow! Brian that's a powerful story and a great reminder of how faithful our God truly is! It's seems to me that as folks learn the secret of depending on God, they also learn just how faithful He truly is.
