You can't make this stuff up!
I love hearing and sharing about answers to prayer.
Just recently a dear friend my wife and I, Heather Jones, shared about how God showed up for her and her mom at Sight & Sound Theaters in Lancaster, PA.
She had traveled to Sight & Sound with her mom and cousins. And a few months ago her aunt and cousins bought tickets to see a show called "Jesus"
Heather's mom had been trying to buy tickets ever since, but they were always sold out. (A common occurrence at Sight & Sound by the way!)
So, they went to see if they could get tickets and you guessed it no luck! But Heather prayed that if they were meant to see it, some how God would make it happen.
Then Heather went back (30) minutes before the show started to see if something had changed about the tickets, and still no luck. She went back again seven (7) minutes before the show started.
That's when someone came up to her out of the blue and gave her one ticket! Wow, seven minutes before show time, You go God!
Heather gave that ticket to her mom and told her to go inside and enjoy the show. So, that's what her mom did.
Now, the doors were closing and Heather asked the theater staff if there was somewhere she could go and sit with a cup of coffee until the show was over.
And that's when another woman came up and said,
"We just got one ticket handed to us, take it."
The lady even said, "It’s a blessing."
Yes, Heather got to go in too!
And believe it or not that seat the lady just gave her was LITERALLY next to Heather's aunts and cousins!
And when sharing the story with me Heather said,
"You can’t make this stuff up!"
I couldn't agree more Heather!
Lamentations 3:25 New Living Translation says,
"God is good to those who depend on Him ..."
Notice the verse doesn't say God is good to the perfect, or to the religious. No, it's simply says God is good to those who depend on Him!
How do we depend on God? Through prayer, just like Heather did at Sight & Sound!
I understand that enjoying God as Dad may seem foreign to some of you, but the secret is in your dependance!
You'll enjoy God as a Dad more often than not when you learn to depend on Him as a Father, as a Dad through prayer!
Love you guys!
